The Reason
for the Season
Read:
1 Corinthians 2:1-5, 15:1-11
Even
with all the commercialism of Christmas – it starts right after
Hallowe’en, or maybe even before – still we see and hear
sometimes, "Jesus is the Reason for the Season".
Now
the Season is Lent, and Jesus is the reason for this season. He was
born for us – lived for us – and died for us!
As
we go through this holy season of Lent, we can't imagine such
sacrifice. God sacrificed his Son for us. Jesus gave His life for us.
We are blessed beyond belief.
Jesus
is the reason for the season.
